The Rhode Island State Society Daughters of the American Revolution will celebrate Patriotic Sunday in the Park by honoring the French Regiments who assisted the colonists during the American Revolution. This event will be held at Slater Park in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, on the grounds surrounding the Daggett House.
The Pawtucket Chapter NSDAR, which maintains the Daggett House, will offer free tours of the House. The French Regiment re-enactors, Le Bourbonnais, will set up a camp and demonstrate military drills according to the von Steuben and the French manuals. Children will also have an opportunity to drill with the soldiers. Please join us for this special day.
Open to the public amd free of charge. There will be no rain date.

The park has full recreational facilities, including tennis courts and 18 picnic sites. The Looff Carousel was built in 1894, installed in the park in 1910 and restored in 1978.
