The Aurea Ensemble delves into love, once again, to celebrate Valentine’s Day, with it’s own unique mix of poetry, chamber music and song. Spanning a wide emotional range, Love & Other Difficulties will juxtapose poetry of Shelley, Rilke, Heine, von Hoffmanswaldau, contemporary poet, Charles Jenner and others with the Brahms G Major String Sextet, Respighi Il Tramonto for Mezzo Soprano & Strings, Hugo Wolf Italian Serenade, and the Gershwin Lullaby.
