The Sandra Feinstein-Gamm Theatre (The Gamm) is proud to commemorate a quarter-century of Alias Stage/Gamm Theatre history at its upcoming fundraising party, Gamm 25: A Silver Celebration: an evening of reminiscences and rollicking fun! The Gamm Theatre Board of Directors along with Honorary Chairs U.S. Senator Sheldon Whitehouse and Dr. Sandra Whitehouse invite arts supporters to join them at the non-profit theater's eighth annual fundraising event on Saturday, April 10 at 6 p.m. Festivities include the honoring of Board President Coline Covington, Board Member and Resident Actor Samuel F. "It's a special anniversary for the theater and it's going to be a very special gala: a celebration of 25 years of incredible history, and a raucous kickoff to the next 25," said Gamm Artistic Director Tony Estrella. "It's our biggest event every year and a unique opportunity for the people who make The Gamm so special, including the artists and staff, our audience, our funders, our board members and volunteers. It's a chance to celebrate as one the past, present and future of this remarkable organization."

Dress for Gamm 25: A Silver Celebration is black tie optional. More information at gammtheatre.org.

Over the past six years, the building and an adjacent Annex, both of which were in deteriorating condition, have been renovated to accommodate the Jacqueline M. Walsh School for the Performing and Visual Arts, a unit of the Pawtucket Public School system, and the Sandra Feinstein-Gamm Theatre (The Gamm), Rhode Island's second largest theater company and one of just two theaters in Rhode Island working under contract with Actors Equity Association, the union which governs professional actors and stage managers in the United States. These organizations occupy the space as the current tenants of the Pawtucket Armory Center for the Arts.
